George Collins

I am a lens based artist exploring documentary and landscape photography.

I was born and live in Chesterfield. I was introduced to photography by my dad at an early age. After leaving 6th form, I studied BA (hons) in Photography, Video and Digital Imaging at Sunderland University from 2016 to 2019. I exhibited work in June 2019 with 'The Obscura Collective' and aimed to spark conversation about the overuse of lights in todays society.

I explore Documentary and Landscape photography using both digital and film mediums. A continuing theme within my work is the exploration of man's interaction with the planet.
